Bought the 2025 Burton Custom X and loved its glossy iridescent design, but the topsheet chips where other boards would only scratch, sometimes losing whole chunks; Burton acknowledged a flaw that year and offered a partial refund. They found it stiffer than their old Custom but manageable.
